 Yoshihiro Tajiri’s P2P Match Announced – 

Former WWE/ECW superstar Yoshihiro Tajiri & Kushida vs. “The Galaxy’s Own” Mentallo & “Hotshot” Danny Duggan

Canadian wrestling fans are being treated to a very rare opportunity to see international legend and the universally respected Yoshihiro Tajiri live in action in a match that guarantees to be one of the most talked about matches of 2010 in not only CWE but across the country. “The Japanese Buzzsaw” will board a plane from Japan and head to Winnipeg, Manitoba with a long list of credentials coming with him including multiple championship title reigns from all over the World most notably in ECW and WWE.

Yoshihiro Tajiri has been a cult favorite in the world of professional wrestling for many years and it’s safe to say if a “Best of Tajiri” collection was compiled it would be many discs long as Tajiri has had countless awe aspiring matches over the years from across the globe. Anytime Tajiri steps in a wrestling ring those watching are usually treated to something very special and that will be the case and then some on March 7th as for the first time ever Tajiri will team with his prized student Kushida in North America.

CWE fans truly get to be a part of something special when Kushida makes his CWE debut. Under the guidance of Tajiri, Kushida has very quickly become one of Japan’s breakout performers. Often compared to his mentor it is commonly said that Kushida is a step ahead of where Tajiri was at this stage of his career which speaks volumes of how amazingly talented Kushida is.

Being groomed for greatness Kushida was sent to Windsor, Ontario where he has been training for quite sometime at Scott D’Amore’s CanAm wrestling school to become an even more well rounded performer.

On the other side of the ring of the Japanese sensations will stand two men who are no strangers to CWE fans, “The Galaxy’s Own” Mentallo & “Hotshot” Danny Duggan. Since CWE’s inception both Mentallo and Danny Duggan have proved time and time again they are two of Canadian Wrestling’s Elite by excelling against top talent in Canada and the best the United States of America have to offer. These two men now have the opportunity to showcase their abilities against two of Japan’s and the World’s best.

Although both men have excelled in singles competition they have teamed together in the past and have have gelled as if they have teamed together for years most notably in tag matches against current CWE champion and then ROH World champion Nigel McGuinness and the Fabulous Creebirds of Don Douglas and Kevy Chevy.

Both Mentallo and Danny Duggan have beaten the who’s who of independent wrestling in North America and now have the opportunity to compete against and potentially beat Tajiri and Kushida which could have some international ramifications, especially with Tajiri heading up the brand new SMASH promotion in Japan. With SMASH in Japan having an open call for talent for their upstart company there will be no time like March 7th at Point to Prove for Duggan and Mentallo to show SMASH officials what they are capable of.

Many matches in CWE have big hype going in and always deliver, Tajiri/Kushida vs, Mentallo/Duggan will be no different at Point to Prove on March 7th!
