鈴木隆行選手が帰国しました。
友人が教えてくれました。 鈴木隆行選手のお友達の北原氏のブログによると昨日帰国して早速バックボーンのお店を訪ねたとか。 しばらく日本にいるようですが、きっとまだその後は未定なんでしょうか？その後も非常に気になるところですが。 ゆっくり休んでまた熱いプレーを見せて欲しいですよね。 とりあえずのご報告まで。

鈴木隆行選手がTIMBERS GOAL OF THE YEARに！
鈴木選手のゴールがティンバーズの今季一番印象に残ったとして、 サポーター投票で一位に選ばれました。 この投票はリーグ戦が終わってからティンバーズのホームページで行われたものです。 一人一回切りの投票で選ばれたものなのでとても価値のあるものだと言えます。 そのゴールは４月２６日、まだ開幕してからそんなに日のたっていないものなのに、最終節が終わってからも印象に残る素晴らしいゴールだったと言えると思います。 動画はこれです。 Suzuki nabs Timbers Goal of the Year honors 10/03/2008 10:25 AM Suzuki celebrates after his Goal of the Week strike hits the back of the net against Seattle. PORTLAND, Ore. – Forward Takayuki Suzuki’s goal against the Seattle Sounders on April 26 at PGE Park was named by fans as the Timbers 2008 Goal of the Year. Fans voted through a recent fan poll on www.portlandtimbers.com. Suzuki, 32, scored his only goal of the season in the sixth minute to help the Timbers capture a 2-0 win over their Northwest rival. With five defenders in front of him, Suzuki blasted a long-range shot from the top right corner of the penalty area that sailed over goalkeeper Chris Eylander and into the top left corner of the goal. His strike was named the USL First Division’s Goal of the Week for Week 2. View Suzuki’s goal and the others nominated for the Timbers 2008 Goal of the Year. A former member of the Japanese National Team, Suzuki appeared in 26 matches and logged one goal and one assist in 1,760 minutes with the Timbers in 2008. He was selected as the league’s Player of the Week following his performance against Seattle in April.
